This corner of the library hasn’t changed much in years. I sometimes think, because of the way I share our home on the internet, I’m “supposed” to rework and restyle and redo a lot. But when I like something, I like it. I don’t tire of the things I truly love. I had always planned to get the composer charcoals (a gift from a sweet insta-friend) framed, but I’ve lived with the washi tape long enough now to feel like it’s a wonderful juxtaposition between the formal elements and a more relaxed approach. Over time, I’ve added busts and propped the floral piece in for some color and interest. I love this little wall and can’t imagine anything else here. Everything is thrifted.
