I took a nod from the dining room trees to set the table for Christmas, using a mix of blues and some new green dishes I thrifted last week. The wicker pattern on the cups and saucers is so charming! I finally got to use the bowls I picked up at a thrift store this summer. They have a part of my favorite verse written in the bottom – Whatsoever things are true. (Philippians 4:8) Continuing the theme of dressing up with nowhere to go, I snagged this satin blue stunner at Donnas Dress Shop and it fits like a glove. Supporting small shops has always been important but especially now.

Oh, my, another great dress! It does fit perfectly. The table setting is beautiful as well. I do admire your taste. You have a great eye in decorating. Someone should run an article about you in House Beautiful. Maybe one of these days they will.

Thanks for your response to my previous correspondence. I don’t see anything about the wallpaper in this article.
